I Know Him!!

Yes, I admit it.  I am a hockey sister.  My brother has played hockey since he was 4.  He has been apart of some great teams with talented players.  One of my brother's former team mates was NHL player, Ryan Kesler.  Ryan grew up in the same town as we did.  My brother and him were never close friends, but knew one another well.  Sunday night, I watched an amazing hockey game between Team USA and Cananda!  With about 45 seconds left in the third period, Ryan scored the 5th and last goal!
Ryan Kesler is #17 on Team USA and on the Vancouver Canucks.
It was so exciting to watch!  Even if Team USA doesn't win gold, this game was worth it to me!

Anyone else catch the game or lovin the Olympics?

How cool! We saw the last few seconds of the game, but I've been glued to NBC for the 20 min of ski coverage each night... (I wish they'd put skiing on CSNBC or USA like they've been doing with hockey or curling!)

that is really cool - wish I could have watched more of the olympics but I am at work everynight - and although we do have it on the tv there every time something catches my eye & I stop to watch someone sitting at the bar inevitably wants a drink - can u believe that:)

Oh my gosh! How unbelievably cool! A guy I work with was in the Olympics a few years ago. He won a medal for sailing. I just can't imagine being in the olympics and being able to tell your children and grandchildren that you're one of the best athletes in the world.

And the guy you know has the bragging right of beating Canada! Way cool!
