Here She is...

All cozy in her new home!

When I bought the old couch brand new, it was so pretty!

But then, two little doggies decided to take it over.  It also was way too small for the space and didn't quite give that vintage look I was hoping for.  What can I say, I didn't plan that over so well.

To save the old couch from our destructive babies, we invested in a couch cover.

But, that only became a magnet for white doggie hairs.  I was cleaning the thing every week!

Rules with the new couch...No Doggies Allowed!  As you can see, Fatty was not too thrilled about this.

With the new couch came a new layout for the living room.

We finally feeling like we have the cozy living room we were dreaming of!

Oooh I like that new couch! Murphy used to sneak onto the couch when we're around, so we really had to work with him to keep him off it. Now he doesn't even try, so I know it can be done.

Ugh Kristi, it has been a HUGE battle! We tried it all. The only thing that has worked so far is a spray bottle and when we aren't home, putting dining room chairs on the couch.

Danielle, it looks great! I am so excited for you!

There is no way we could keep our dogs off anything. I kick them off the bed before we go to sleep and I wake up about 4 times a night and kick them off again.

Wow! It looks amazing... makes the room so much warmer and more welcoming. I also love it with your tables...

As for the dogs, we don't let ours up on the furniture and it hasn't been a problem (other than the fact that I have to sit on the floor when I want doggy cuddles!). So I'm sure yours will get it soon, too! :)

It looks so great. I love that color.

I'm with Oonafey about keeping dogs off the furniture. We are horrible about being consistant. But, it's definitely the way to keep it nice. =)

Great couch! I love the color. We solved the dog/couch dilemma by buying a couch the same color as our dog. :) Although, we lucked out in the fact she doesn't shed much, but what she does shed we can't see.
