Honest Scrap Award...

First off, I would like to thank the academy :-)  Actually I would like to thank my pal Kasey, over at Thrifty Little Blog for giving me the honor of accepting this award.   :

*This award is bestowed upon a fellow blogger whose blog content or design is, in the giver’s opinion, brilliant. *When accepting this award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the person who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to the said person so everyone knows she/he is real.

*Choose a minimum of seven blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have seven. Show the blog names and links and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with the Honest Scrap award.

*List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then pass it on!

~Honestly~

1. I am always cold.  I LOVE hot weather, but can't live without the snow...go fig
2. I work for one of the big 3's historical archives and love my job!  Cross your fingers that things will smooth out with the economy...
3. My mom is my best friend, along with my husband and childhood friend.  But she's tops!
4. I love to run, but it doesn't always like me.  I have a lot of joint pain, so I am a little limited to what I can do at times.  But I do it when I can.
5. Photography is a big passion of mine, along with print making.
6. My biggest pet peeve is when people don't give the thank you wave while driving...how hard is it to say, "Thanks for letting me cut in front of you"?
7. I am a HUGE animal lover.  My mom always says if I could have a farm to put all the unwanted animals on, I would.  She is so right!  I have 2 Dogs, 2 Cats, and a Cat at work that I will be taking home soon.
8. Ikea is my secret love...shhhh...don't tell Clint.
9. I am addicted to my house.  If I could I would of married it!  :-P
10.  I love to travel.  My favorite city that I have been to is San Francsico.  Paris is a close second.

~Seven Fun Blogs~

1. Home in the Country
2. At Home with H
3. Just a Girl
4. Just as We Are
5. Irvington Bungalow
6. Bungalow Bliss
7. Another Sun, Another Moon, Another Saturday Night

Hope you enjoyed my honesty.  Check out Thrifty Little Blog along with the seven others I mentioned above!

Thanks for sharing your honesty! I, too, have a passion for photography (have a BFA in it), and San Francisco was always my hands down choice for a place to live if money was no object. And speaking of things we have in common, I agree with #6 whole heartedly, and would run that animal farm with you in a second.

I just want to say that we are kindred spirits:) My favorite place so far that I have traveled is San Francisco. I am in love with this city. I am always cold and I can't stand the thought of living up north. (which I am moving in 4 weeks) I am in love with my house and would marry it if I could:) I love photography too. I am taking a class online in March with Karen Russell. She takes the kind of pictures that I want too. That is a lot in common:)

I also forgot the one about thanking people while you are driving. I can't stand to let someone in the lane or let them over or let them out and they don't thank you. You know in the south we have a lot of manners but sometimes people forgot those.
